Not recommending, but asking. Have you tried any watermelon flavored beers? I really like Wild Blue but I want to expand to other flavors. I like a fruity taste. Do you have any recommendations? ha
I’ve had one watermelon-flavored beer thus far in my beer drinking career. That was the Watermelon Ale from the Hooker Brewing Company. You can find my review here.
It was the only beer I’ve rated ‘F’ so far, too. But, if you like watermelon beers, it might be worth checking out. I know a bunch of people that really love the beer. So, if its available near you, it might be worth trying. I just can’t recommend it personally.
I don’t believe I’ve had Wild Blue before, but I know I’ve had better luck with blueberry beers before.
As far as other Fruit Beers go, I’d recommend Lambic beers brewed with fruit. If you haven’t tried it yet, a Kriek from any Lambic producer would be worth checking out.
